Bruno Mota trained as a computer engineer and holds an executive master's in Business Management. In 2009 he co-founded Bold International, a Portuguese information technology consultancy, together with Tiago Gouveia. Before that, he worked at companies including Altran, Prime IT and Grupo Sonae, where he started his career in 2005.

As CEO of Bold, Bruno Mota led the company's growth into a benchmark in the Portuguese tech sector, with more than 500 employees and several brands specialised in different technology areas. The company was eventually integrated into the international group Devoteam, a process he led personally and continues to oversee today as CEO of Devoteam Portugal.

His journey — from team sport (he was a competitive futsal player) to business leadership — makes him a relevant voice on team building, organisational culture and the path of a Portuguese startup through to integration into a multinational group.
