Vasco Antunes Pereira is the Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Lusíadas Saúde, one of Portugal’s leading private healthcare groups. The Group operates an integrated healthcare network comprising 17 healthcare facilities, alongside HeyDoc, a network of dental clinics, HUG Lusíadas Home Care, MD Clínica and Lusíadas Sport.

Prior to his current role, Vasco Antunes Pereira served as Chief Executive Officer of Hospital de Cascais and as a member of the Board of Directors of Lusíadas Saúde.
He holds a Law degree from Universidade Lusíada, completed executive education programmes in healthcare management at Stanford University and IESE Business School, and earned an MBA from Georgetown University. He began his career as a corporate lawyer before joining the healthcare sector as Head of Legal at Hospital Amadora-Sintra, Portugal’s first public-private partnership hospital. Following his MBA, he transitioned into executive management, leading Strategic Procurement at José de Mello Saúde.
